  • Guest：First time staying at Regent Beijing, and it did not feel up to IHG standards in my opinion.? Wi-Fi in my room was extremely slow, and I had to go back and forth with the call centre and housekeeping before the duty manager finally resolved the issue.? The bathroom cleanliness was not what you would expect from a five-star hotel.? - There was visible mould in the shower area. I received a call from Housekeeping on 28 Dec, informed them about it, but no one came to clean it.? - There was also a seriously clogged shower drain (later fixed), which suggests no one noticed it before we checked in, likely because it had not been properly cleaned. Lobby lounge - Italian sparkling wine would never be a champagne, this is not supposed to be happening on REGENT hotel wine menu. Silly mistake & not professional. Wanted to order “Santa Punch” from the festive menu around 6pm and learned that it was sold out in the afternoon, half of the operational hours… Other than that, staffs are very friendly and helpful but the cleanliness really turn me off for next visit. Given there’s plenty of other hotels in the same area
